Two Decades of Building in Home Improvement
For more than twenty years, Tat Granata has helped build, lead, and grow successful home-improvement businesses in South Florida. As Partner and Vice President of Sales at Florida Home-Improvement Associates (FHIA Remodeling), he helped guide the company’s growth from a regional South Florida installer into one of the largest home-improvement organizations in the country — leading the sales organization through years of expansion, including FHIA’s 2019 acquisition of Statewide Remodeling in Texas, the company’s first step beyond Florida.
Along the way, Tat became one of the most recognizable educators in South Florida’s hurricane-protection category: dozens of on-camera “Tips From The Pros” segments, television features on Ready Set Renovate with host Elizabeth Hart, and trade-press coverage in Pro Remodeler and PR Newswire.
What Those Years Taught Him
Tat looks back on that chapter with real pride — in the teams he helped train, the tens of thousands of homeowners those teams served, and what they built together. Growing a company to that scale teaches lessons you can’t learn any other way: that skilled people are everything, that strong systems are what make quality repeatable, that clear communication is what homeowners remember most, and that trust is earned in the follow-through — showing up when you said you would, doing what you promised, and standing behind the work afterward.
Haven: The Next Chapter
Haven Home Remodeling Group is where those lessons come together. Tat founded Haven as a founder-led South Florida company built to deliver everything he learned at scale — trained, long-tenured crews, dependable systems, disciplined follow-through — in a more personal, responsive, and connected way. To pair that operational leadership with licensed construction expertise, he partnered with Aldo Dellamano, a Florida general contractor with more than thirty years in the trades and four active state licenses. Tat leads the company and the customer experience; Aldo sets the construction standard every project is built to.
A Concierge for Every Project
The clearest expression of Tat’s philosophy is Haven’s project concierge model. Every Haven customer is supported by a dedicated project concierge — one person who knows the details of the project: what was ordered and when, who the sales representative is, where the project stands today, which milestone comes next, and how the installation is planned. The concierge is the homeowner’s consistent point of contact for HOA approvals, permitting, material ordering, delivery dates, installation scheduling, inspections, and follow-up service — by phone, email, or text, whichever the homeowner prefers. No phone trees. No repeating your story. No guessing who to call.
Building a Company Homeowners Can Trust
Tat’s goal for Haven is simple: to build a company South Florida homeowners can trust with their homes, their families, and their peace of mind — one project, and one relationship, at a time.
