Every COOLWALL project begins with a hands-on inspection of the stucco surface. Fort Lauderdale stucco commonly shows thermal cracking along mortar joints, spalling at exposed corners, and localized areas where the top coat has separated from the base coat beneath. Each condition is documented and addressed before the coating is applied. Haven’s crews pressure-wash the full exterior to remove surface contaminants, then route and fill cracks with flexible patching material, rebuild spalled areas to match the surrounding texture, and remove any delaminated sections back to sound substrate.
After repairs are complete, a bonding primer is applied to the prepared surface to optimize adhesion for the COOLWALL topcoat. The primer must cure before the topcoat application begins, and Haven schedules the work in consecutive stages that account for Fort Lauderdale’s weather patterns and curing requirements. The topcoat is spray-applied in multiple passes to build the specified mil thickness evenly across every wall face. Haven’s in-house crews control the entire sequence from preparation through final coating so no trade gap delays the project or introduces inconsistency between the repair work and the finished surface.
